Hercourt Hoops training

At Hercourt, we believe in creating a powerful, supportive space where female athletes can work on their game with confidence. Our Small Group Skill Training Sessions are designed exclusively for females who want to elevate their fundamentals, refine their technique, and compete with purpose.

Each session is limited to a maximum of 8 players, ensuring every athlete gets personalized attention, detailed feedback, and hands-on instruction. From footwork and ball handling to shooting mechanics and game IQ, our focus is on individual growth which will translate to a team environment

Whether you’re building your foundation or pushing toward elite performance, Hercourt’s all-female training atmosphere offers the perfect balance of competition, community, and empowerment — on and off the court

Meet our coaches

Elle Kerfoot

Elle has worked with young female athletes for many years and has identified a need for a space to learn, share and be mentored in their sport. She recognizes how hard it can be to compete in high level sports.  It can be demanding, stressful and hard to keep balance in your life.   Elle will be launching the Locker Room in the Spring - a safe space where young athletes can come together with both peers and mentors.  Elle will be available on a regular basis and she will promote an environment where players can share their experiences and their struggles.

She will tap into her many contacts in the sport to help provide leadership and mentorship within the Hercourt Locker Room.

Olivia

I grew up as a multi-sport athlete, but over the years, basketball became the one I loved most. I played for Unity Christian School’s senior girls basketball team starting in Grade 8, in grade 9 I earned a Second Team Senior Girls Provincial All-Star selection. From Grades 10 to 12, I was named a First Team Provincial All-Star, and in Grade 10, our team captured the Single A Provincial Championship.

After high school, I committed to Camosun College in 2020 and played one season before transferring back home to the University of the Fraser Valley, where I continued my basketball journey for two more years. During that time, I also discovered my passion for coaching. I started with Chilliwack Basketball as the head coach for the Grade 7 and 8 girls teams, then went on to coach with Excel Basketball Club for the U12 and U13 girls. More recently, I had the privilege of coaching my former high school’s Grade 9 girls team to a district championship.

Basketball has been such a huge part of my life, and I’m incredibly excited to now help young female athletes not only develop their skills but also feel confident while they play. I began training with Elle back in Grade 8 and continued with her until my final year of university. She completely changed the way I play and deepened my love for the sport. She was one of the best parts of my basketball journey and made every 3–4 hour drive to train with her absolutely worth it. I’m super excited to now work alongside her and share my love and passion for women’s sports with everyone!
